When I create a report using the wizard, "Compact" is the
format I use. I've done this for years and the print
preview is exactly how it prints. Recently, the actual
printout prints in a different font and weight, even
thought the print preview looks right.

Any thoughts on how to fix this? I'm using Access 2000.

Thanks,
Beth

Just a thought (this is way out of my area): Assuming
nothing has changed at the computer end, has there been
any change in the printer or the way it's hooked up? The
printer needs to be able to understand the font commands
it's sent. Anything that could have contributed to a
change in the printer might cause this, including power
failures that might have reset printer settings, memory
changes, board changes, etc.

Well, I thought of that. The problem is it doesn't always
happen. So it can't be the printer communication.

Thanks,
Beth

It's a bug in Access 2000. You need to get the latest service pack for A2k.
In the mean time, the work around is to turn off NameAutoCorrect. Tools >
Options > General tab. Remove the check box from Perform Name Auto Correct.
