error w/ copying a record to a new line... |
| message from Ruben on 12 May 2004 |
When I add a new record at the end of the db I first type
in the first field (which is numbered sequentially) but in
the next field when I want to copy the field above it I
use my arrow key to go up. Now when I do this, the whole
record above the new record is automatically copied into
the new record.
Does anyone know why this happens???

I don't know why this is happening, but you don't need to do that. Just tab
into the second column and press Ctrl+' (hold down the Control key while
pressing the apostrophe key) to copy the value from the same column in the
previous row.
