disable Auto-fill in

When I enter number values in my table, Access
automatically fills in the next value if it appears to be
a sequence of numbers.

How do I disable this feature?

Unfortunately, you can't. None of us can understand why such a useless
"feature" was added to Access.

I think, though, that this only happens if you're updating the tables
directly.
