compressing database to cd |

My access 2000 database has reached 2gb i would like to
get a program to compress it so i can put it on a cd. any
help would be appreciated iam a novice

WinZip (www.winzip.com or just "Copy to Compressed Folder" in Windows XP.
But 2GB is the upper limit of an Access database, so if it's ever going to
get any bigger, you need to move to a server database such as SQL Server,
ASAP.

Have you compacted your database? That would reduce the
size.

Compacting would help you too, by removing all the junk that adds up.

MSDE has a 2GB limit, too.
