XP and 2000 compatibility

Hi,

Is it safe for an AccessXP database to be opened and edited using Access2K?
Can sharing a database between Access XP and Access 2K cause file
corruption?

Access 2002 (XP) still uses the A2000 file format by default. If the file you
speak of has not been explicitly changed to the 2002 file format then it should
open with A2000 just fine. However; if any of the new features found in 2002
were used then they obviously won't work if run in A2000.
