URGENT plz help - compact db w/ pass from command line |

i try this "
C:\>"c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\MSACCESS.EXE" /excl /pwd
pass123
\B.mdb /compact \a.mdb
trying to compact \b.mdb to a.mdb
it doesn`t give error msg
Access just starts and closes
TIA 4 any help

The /pwd option in the command line is the password for user level security,
not for a password protected database.
