Table off page |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?VHJldm9y?= on 28 May 2004 |
After I make an edit to the design of a table save and close it, the table moves in the relationship window. Now normally this is not a problem, but occasionaly the table moves off the page beyond the scroll bars. How can I retive the table without having to re-order all my relationships?

Use the Tab key to move to the table that is off screen, and then the Del
key to delete the table from the Relationships window. Save. Add the table
again.
Note that this does not actually delete any relationships.

Cheers that worked a treat. Is there any way to stop access moving the tables like it does?

Hi Trevor.
The tables should not crawl off screen on their own.
IME, it usually happens when you switch screen resolution.

I've seen tables vanish off the relationships screen - sometimes
moving offscreen, sometimes just vanishing, lines and all - without
changing resolution. It's sufficiently sporadic and unpredictable that
I have no clue what might be causing it, but it's not *just* changing
screen resolution.

Thanks, John.
Wonder if it is related to Name AutoCorrect getting confused about the
tables and relations? That may explain why I don't see it (always have Name
AutoCorrect off.)
