Trouble converting .mdb to .mde

message from John Reichard on 19 May 2004
I have a front-end database that I'm trying to convert to
a .mde file. When I try to save it as a .mde file, I get
an error message that says "Error in Loading DLL". I am
not using any Visual Basic code or Modules. Everything
is done using Macros. I'm not a programmer, so I would
be totally lost if I had to work with Visual Basic. Is
the reason that I can't save the file as an .mde file
because I'm only using Macros? I'm just looking for some
help for the conversion. Anyone know what I need to do?
Thanks.

The problem is in your coding.
Go to visual basic editor (Alt + F11) then goto DebugMenu >> Debug your
database name.
then MS access tries to debug your database and every code error must be
handled.
finally you can easily convert your *.mdb to *.mde.
If problem persists you may need to reinstall your copy of microsoft office.
