System text dimensions affecting Forms visualization

message from Ale on 10 May 2004
I've noticed that large (instead of normal) text
dimension (Set in Desktop Options) affect the
visualization of my Access application.
I've tried to run my application on a Windows 2000
System : Text dimensions are too big :all controls
captions are cut off!
The strange is that on XP Systems only Forms captions
have large text but controls appear ok.
Is not a problem of Screen resolution just System text
dimensions .
Is this a known problem? Is there a solution?
Thank you in advance
Alex

One solution is to resize your forms when they open to account for the
A shareware version of a form rescaling module I wrote called
ShrinkerStretcher is available at this web site:

The Access Developer's Handbook has form resizing code included:

Hope this helps,
