Strange result from query / OleDbException (0x80040e57)

Hello all,

SELECT DISTINCT * FROM Models ORDER BY Design;

I get the following error message:

The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to
add. Try inserting or pasting less data.

Is this regular Access behaviour? Or am I doing something wrong here?
