Scanning

I'm trying to set up a form where i click a button and an
image is taken from the scanner and stored. Has anyone
done anything like this?

Any help is appreciated.

Not free, but works with several scanners and cameras I have. There are most
likely other solutions, but I found this one worked great so I haven't
researched them.
