Restoring full menus

message from Malcolm H on 15 May 2004
I created a simple Access 2000 database for a client some months ago. In
order simplify usage for the client I altered the Tools/Startup options so
that full toolbars were not displayed. The client was therefore unable to
change any 'Design' features.

Now, some months later, the client wishes me to change some design features
but, unfortunately, I have forgotten how to restore full menus so that I can
make the change. The Startup item in the Tools menu is dimmed.

I have not set any passwords nor taken any other security measures. From
memory I thought there was a keyboard option at startup which enabled full
toolbars - but I can't find this in 'Help'.

Please can anybody help?

Thank you in anticipation....

Hold the Shift key down while you are opening the database.
