It would help if you replied to the original message, rather than creating a
new thread. This newsgroup is very busy and it's hard to see what you're
replying to.
I tracked down the original thread, and it may be that someone exited Access
inappropriately (crtl-alt-del or power button). With everyone out of the
database, check the folder for a file with the same name as the database,
but with a ldb extension. Delete this file.
