I'm working on an app right now that uses linked SQL Server tables, and
I don't have that problem. There are some differences: I'm using a
System DSN (though I think I had a File DSN at one point, and still
didn't have the problem you describe), and I'm using integrated Windows
security rather than a separate login to SQL Server. So there could
well be something about your setup that triggers the bug, which I'm not
doing. But the problem could lie in a number of different programs or
drivers, and it'll be hard to pin down.
What version of the operating system are you running this under? Do all
the machines that show the problem have the same OS version?
