Ole server error when trying to insert sound file in table |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?cmp1ZGdl?= on 3 Jun 2004 |
The Operation on the OLE object failed
The Ole server may not be registered
To register the Ole server, reinstall it
Ok - what does that mean an how do I do it? I am not writing VB programs. I am simply trying to store a sound file in a table. I have no idea how to tell if the ole server is registered or how to reinstall it.
Thanks for any help - greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue when I try to run a Macro with an Output to ... I
posted my question in the Macro group, but haven't received a response as of
yet. I'll keep on checking on your question, and perhaps you can check in
the Macro group if I get an answer. Otherwise we must start begging, I'm
afraid. If you figure it out, please post your solution.
Thanks.

other problems I saw was with graphic files (which works fine for me). When
I try to store a sound file in a table, it creates an error that states:

I went thru every message that was even close. For some reason no one wants to tackle this one. I am sure someone out there knows the answer. If I do figure it out - I will try to let you know.
Best Regards, rjudge
