Newbie question record deletion |

Running a program that archives files and rmoves the information from th
mdb file, however after completion the .mdb file does not decrease in
size??
Opened the .mdb file in access and deleted 10,000 records from 30,000
records, however the .mdb file is still the same size??
Do not know anything about databas. Can anyone help.

Try to run "Compact and repaire"!
Open the db select "Tool/Databasetool/Compact and repaire". Before doing
this always make a backup of your original db which you stores untill you
see that everything works the way it sopose and you havn´t lost any data!
