Locking Fields

If a form field is locked form editing, does that mean it
is locked for all other forms created?

Only if you make a copy of that form and use it as a
template for others. If a control is locked on a form it's
only locked on that form. I can't remember if it stays
locked if you drag and drop it on a new form, sorry.
