Linked table to view on SQL7 server does not show new record

Hello thanks for helping.

I am using Access 97 to connect to a view of a table on an SQL Server 7 box.
A new record was added through another user, but when the linked table to
the view was opened, it didn't show the new record. I checked from the SQL
server that the record had indeed been added. It was. However, even after
rebooting the linked table does not show the new record.

Anyone have any idea why? Your help is much appreciated.
