Inventory and Order Entry

Hello!
I am just trying to figure out a way to run order entry and inventory control together as one program, so when i sale a product using a order entry to print a order it automatically removes that product from inventory control. Ive been having to print a order using order entry and having to go back and remove that item from inventory conrol. Any suggetions would be very appreciated.
