Help! My database wont open |

When trying to open a database in access 2000, which has a database
password set, i get the message "Resource library.mdb needs to be
repaired, or isnt a database file" "You or another user might have
unexpectedly quit microsoft access, while a microsoft access database
was open. Do you want microsoft access to attempt to repair the
database?"
When i click on yes, i get another message that says "Not a valid
password" I click ok and another message saying my database "cant be
repaired or isnt a microsoft access database file"
any suggestions as to how i can find out what password it needs....or
how to get into the database.
