Greek character set in Access 2002 |
| message from Danny on 12 May 2004 |
Using the Greek character set in Access 2002 I face a=20
very frustrating problem, namely words are not correctly=20
cut at the end of lines.
In the below example, you will notice that the words=20
Περιγραφής and =
Εμπορευμάτων =
are not correctly cut:
Εναρμονισμέν&=
#959; Σύστημα =
Περιγρ
αφής και =
Κωδικοποίηση&=
#962; των Ε
μπορευμάτων 1996
whereas in English we get normal word cutting; i.e. in=20
the first line the word destination is not broken down=20
between the two lines but transferred completely to the=20
following line:
destination house horse=20
destination housedestination=20
destination destination=20
If you know how to solve this problem, please let me know

Just to follow up to Danny's message in case anyone else has the same
problem: we eventually discovered that removing the speech recognition
module in the control panel, regional and language options solved the
problem. This module was attached to US English by default.
