Form does not access table data

message from Tim on 3 Jun 2004
We've been using Access for 5 years or so, with only
minor hiccups... Monday, the person in the office most
familiar with Access opened a form view to find that none
of the records that it showed the day before were
viewable. She checked the table the form referenced and
all the records were still in the table. It didn't
appear that any settings had been changed. She was
trying to create a Word mailmerge document at the time
she noticed the issue. We have since pasted a previous
version of the form into the dbase over the existing one
and the new form now shows the table data again. Any
thoughts on what happened so we don't do it again? Or is
it indicative of a larger impending issue? Thank you!

Since copying another copy of the form into the mdb fixed the problem then I
would guess that something was corrupted, the form had gotten set for Data
Entry (new records only), or their was a filter applied. If it was the last
two, no problem, someone just changed something and you didn't realize it.
If it is the first one, I recommend reading the following.
