Filter by Selection Returns Duplicate Records |

I'm trying to help a user of Access 2002. He opens a
linked table, searches in one field for a specific value,
then uses the "filter by selection" button to limit the
display to just those records. He gets 28 records
returned, but, they are all exactly the same. The table
contains NO duplicate records. I can do the exact same
thing (with Access 2000), and I get 28 distinct records
returned. Anybody have a clue what's going on? Thanks...

When the table was linked into Access, were enough columns selected to
define a unique key? I've seen this cause values to appear duplicated.
