Drive access denied

Unable to read/access the cdrom drive. Removed existing
drive and installed a new one and still get "d:\ Is Not
Accessible Access is denied" User has admin. rights and
device manager shows no problems. "My computer" shows
the drive and the name of the cdrom in it. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
