Converting from Access 97 to Access 2002 |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?VGVkIFNpZGVoYW1lcg==?= on 25 May 2004 |
Missing or broken VBE reference to the file 'Funclib.mda'
I'm not sure if the two problems are related but I find it strange the user can enter data into the files, yet the conversion failed. In addition, the printing problem has me at my wits end trying to figure out what has happened. I'm new to Access and have been "volunteered" to figure this out. Thanks in advance....

If my memory serves me right, mda's are security files from version Access
2.0. If this is the case, then more than likely you will need to upgrade
that mda also. I am not sure you can convert an mda to an mdw file that
Access 97 and above uses. It may be necessary to recreate this Funclib.mda
file to 2002 standards.

Out Access application (data entry) still works, but when the user tries to
print a report, it fails with a blank window appearing. I tried converting
the DB from 97 to 2002 and received the following error:
user can enter data into the files, yet the conversion failed. In addition,
the printing problem has me at my wits end trying to figure out what has
happened. I'm new to Access and have been "volunteered" to figure this out.
Thanks in advance....
