Accwiz.dll

message from Ron Hughes on 14 May 2004
I've been having problems with the command button wizard
regsvr3s.exe <path>\Accwiz.dll

However,I get an error message saying "LoadLibrary failed-
the specified module could not be found"

I am positive that I entered the <path> correctly and I
know the Accwiz.dll is in the directory noted in the path.

Running Office XP(Home), Office 2003.

Any suggestions?

You posted this same question in another group
(microsoft.public.access.externaldata, I think) the other day, and I gave
you detailed instructions. Did they not work?

You can disregard my pevious reply to your reply.

I found my original posting in the
Office.Access.Importing,exporting, linking group. What in
hell I was doing in there I'll never know.

In any event, placing the path with " " did the trick.
The dll is now registered, and my Command Button wizard
works, which is what this was all about to start with!!

Thanks again for your help.

I did post the same cry for help to another newsgroup here
at Microsoft, but can't find it. That's why I posted it
again to this newsgroup :( I saved this site so I can
find it again.

I posted a similar inquiry to the Access-L forum and
received a reply. I followed the instructions for
registering the dll, but receive the following error
message.

LoadLibrary failed- the specified module could not be found

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
