Access 97 problem on Windows XP

After installing Access 97 on Windows XP Professional, it shows application error when running VBA or after clicking Design button on Modules tab. Would anyone have idea to solve this problem? Many thanks!!!

Hum..that sound strange.

I run a97 on a lot of xp boxes...and no trouble for me.

Can you create new mdb..and edit/use that ok?

Perhaps the trouble is just with the one database?

Did you have full permissions with your logon id when you installed access
97? (and, did you install ms-access to a different dir IF you are running a
later version of other office programs?).

Hv tried to create new mdb but still fails. Prompt
application error on pressing 'Design' button on 'Modules'
tab. OS is XP professional SP1. Just use 'typical'
installation.
