Access 97/Jet database engine problem |

"The Msoft Jet dbase engine stopped the process because you and another
user are attempting to change the same data at the same time".
I am using a stand alone system and can't figure out why I get this msg or
how to correct the problem.
I also get the same message when I try to copy and paste the table
containing the memo field. I can copy other tables in the database with no
problem :(
Any help would be much appreciated.

Corruption. You'll need to locate the, hopefully one record, with
the corrupt memo field.
