Access 2000 Barcode support

message from Pete on 25 May 2004
I am trying to develop a database for estimating repair
work. I want to use Barcodes to select which Tables to
gather information from. I can't find the word "barcode"
anywhere in the Access 2000 Help. Does anyone know if
Access will support Barcodes? and where might I find the
info on how to do it?

Pete,

Access comes with a barcode plug-in only if you have the Asian
language version.
Other than that, you have two options: barcode fonts and barcode
ActiveX components.
We offer an ActiveX component for only $95 (which is a fraction of
what other companies charge). Please take a look at BarCodeWiz
ActiveX here:

This is a direct link to the screen shots page with step-by-step
instructions on how to set it up in Access. Now, although this page
shows BarCodeWiz ActiveX, the procedure is similar in any component
you might use.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
