Is Access easy to learn ?

In a word, no. But don't give up. It is worth the effort.
If you know nothing to start it is hard, you have a lot to lean.
If you know something about databases to start it is harder as you need
to do a lot of un-learning first.

If you're query-savvy, and have a "querying" mind its easy. Also if you have a good imagination on what your end users are going to get out of it, you can easily learn by trial and error or through books, classes, etc. However I can see not having a querying mind could make access a little more difficult
