textlink color changes to magenta on browser

could anyone help me why the color of the texlink changes to magenta when
preveiwed on IE. I haven't checked with Netscape.. Whatever color I set wihitn
Page Properties will always show magenta on brwoser preview.

You're probably seeing the color of a VISITED link, since as far as IE is
concerned, you've visited that page. That's what someone will see if they've
visited the page. Try clearing the cache and the history and see if that
helps.
