setting up two separate link styles

message from Conrad Cranfield on 20 Jul 2004
Hi There,

I have set up a link style in the <head> section of my page which I am using
for my left nav. It is set up in a white font as my links have a dark
background image. Is it possible to set up another style that I can use for
links which are in the main presentation area of the page which has a white
background?

Thanks for you help.
Conrad

P.S: Here is my current link definition: <!-- A:link {text-decoration:
underline; color:#FFFFFF; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica,
sans-serif; font-size: 11px; } A:visited {text-decoration: underline;
color:#FFFFFF; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 11px;} A:hover {text-decoration: underline; color:#CCCCCC;
padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; font-family: Verdana, Arial,
Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px} A:active {text-decoration:
underline; color:#FFFFFF; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica,
sans-serif; font-size: 11px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px}

Pseudo-classes and container styles are what you need - here are some
