split code view? |
| message from subimage on 22 Jul 2004 |
Does anyone know if Macromedia is going to implement a split-code view in DW?
To those who don't know, split-code view allows you to view 2 parts of your
document at the same time. To turn this on usually you drag a bar down
(vertically) and then your code is shown in 2 viewports. You can scroll each
viewport independently and it's very helpful for viewing the top & bottom of
your document at once.
Homesite has this...why not Drewmweaver?

I liked that feature too, so I discovered a dirty trick:
1.- Open "Window->Others->CodeInspector".
2.- Dock this new panel just below your toolbars (Click on the dots next to
the title and drag it)
3.- Now, you will see two code windows together, one just below the other
(assuming you have code view on top).
HTH.
