how come the dreamweaver mx 2004 up- and download disconnects after every file you up- or download?
I find this very iritating..

this is probably a problem with your server, not dreamweaver.
Maybe try to change the ftp setting in Dreamweaver to "passive ftp".
(that's in the regulat ftp/site definition window).
If this doesn't solve it, contact your server.
