I manage about a dozen websites. All of these sites have both a development
environment on a remote server and a production site on a different remote
server. For each website I have to promote code from my local environment, to
the development environment, and then to the production environment. I am
looking for a handy way to manage this within Dreamweaver 2004.
Currently for each website I have "myWebSite Development", "myWebSite
Production" defined as two different websites (pointing to the same area on my
local box, but to their different servers on the remote locations).
Dreamweaver let's me do it, but warns me that it might be a problem.
Does anyone have experience with accomplishing this or seen the problems that
it is warning me about?

Don't worry about it. In your application, you will have no problem.
