layout changes when not maximised |
| message from FarnworthRed on 23 Jul 2004 |
Hi,
I'm new to DreamWeaver and fairly new to creating websites - so apologies
upfront.
I have created a simple website using one of the in-built Page Designs (CSS)
utilising the style sheet.
I have developed the basics (very) of my site and placed it on my free
webspace to see how it looks. I realised that when viewing the screen did not
always display correctly, i.e. if not Maximised you could lose the navigation
bars on the left. (www.maintsystems.co.uk
Any ideas for this ?Numpty??
Thanks

Give the navigation DIV an explicit width and/or a min-width style. Note
that min-width won't work in IE/PC.
Also, don't forget to give you page a background color (give the BODY a
background color style)
