Hi Anthony,
Which version of Dreamweaver are you using? (Help> About Dreamweaver,
include dot versioning. i.e., 7.0.1)
What are you pasting (is it something specific or is it any pasting action
regardless of what you're pasting)?
What type of file are you pasting in? (.htm, .cfm, .asp, etc.)
Are you working in a defined site?
Do you have any third party server behaviors installed?
The above details and any others you can provide may help resolve your
issue.
Thanks,
~Angela

Hello Anthony,
By any chance did this document originate in Fireworks? I'm not familiar
with this specific error. Does it occur in a blank document?
Since you don't have any extensions installed (well you said behaviours but
I'm going to assume no other types either), I would say you should move your
user's Configuration to your desktop. Restart your computer, then restart
Dreamweaver. If the problem still occurs, I would uninstall and reinstall
Dreamweaver.
If you have extensions installed, you should make sure you have copies. If
you don't have the original MXP file, disable the extension with the
Extension Manager first by unchecking the checkbox. Then move the user's
configuration to the desktop. Your extensions will be in your user's
configuration, in a folder containing disabled extensions in MXP file
format. It is always best to use the original MXP when installing if you
have it.
You will lose any customizations or preference settings (except those stored
in the registry), effectively resetting the application. Once you're sure
everything works, you can delete your configuration that you moved to the
desktop.
If you're unsure of the location of your user configuration, consult the F1
Help and search for the word multiuser. (It varies by operating system and
the files are usually hidden by default.)
That's pretty much what I'd do...
Hope it helps and good luck!
~Angela
