dreamweaver MX and PHP

I want to add a database to my website. My provider (dds) does not
support JSP, ASP, FrontPage extensions, or coldfusion, only PHP/MySQL.
So far I made my site in Publisher, which is ok but to limited to add
a database, and it is not userfriendly for a bigger site. So I want to
switch to a more professional program. Is Dreamweaver MX the best
choice?
