css in design mode? (dw mx 04) |
| message from krb100 on 18 Jul 2004 |
hi I have 2 questions.
1. When I design my page in dw then my css layout looks out of "wack" but when
I preview it in a browser it looks fine? Is there a way to adjust so that what
I see in design view is not totally off!?
2. How do I make pictures active / or clickable when using css? What rule do
I use?
All the best

It depends what version of DW you are using. Prior to version2004 the
rendering of css positioning wasnt very good. 2004 is better, but still
not flawless.
You cant do that using css. Thats need to be done by simply attaching a
behaviour to them

thanks Osgood,
THanks for both your answers.
I use dw mx 2004. It is when I use css that the design sometimes blows out in my design view. Do you have any ideas what could be causing it?

Without seeing the css code/html you are using I have no idea. MX 2004
is pretty good at showing css in design view but it is by no means
perfect. Maybe you are just doing something which it cant show correctly.
If you want to paste the html and css code here or give a link to the
page i'll take a look at it and see if I can detect the problem. There
may not be one of course.
