Yahoo takes over!

message from E. T. Culling on 21 Jul 2004
See: http://www.eleanorstravels.com/yahootakesover.htm and notice what has
happened at the top of the browser and the pop-up photo. That's worse that
IE ... saying 'Hello John'. Wondering if you were are aware of this? Can it
be avoided .... probably not!

This is happening due to some configuration in the user's registry. A
lot of lame ISP's have decided it's cool to muck around with your
registry, so they can beat their brand through your skull on every page
you ever view. To fix it requires some registry hacking which isn't for
the faint of heart, but not too difficult.

I just switched from using IE to Mozilla and could not be happier. It is
free. Check it out, you might like it. www.mozilla.org
