"Warning, the selected folder does not contain the current site's home page.
The site map cannot be built."
I am using Dreamweaver MX on a Windows XP pc.
I needed to rearange all the sites I had stored in "my documents" folder as
things were getting a little cluttered, I made a folder called "websites" and
copied my three complete websites into there. I then launched Dreamweaver and
went to edit sites so that I could tell Dreamweaver that I had moved my site
folders.
On one of my sites I am persistently getting the message noted above, even
though the folder I have selected does contain the site's index.htm file.
Does anyone have any idea why Dreamweaver would be doing this?

Select the file in DW's file manager panel, right click, and select Set as
Home Page. That should take care of it.
