Why is my system running slow? |

I have just finished building a dynamic driven site that is up on a company
intranet. The system is linked to an SQL Server database and displays lots of
information on clients and products under development. The trouble i'm finding
though is that it takes quite a long time for the pages to load before they're
cached. At times it's painfully slow!
Why is this occurring? Is it a problem with my indexing or source code? Is
there a way of speeding things up?

Could be a number of things from your code, database structure,
network, servers .....
