When I open the page I just made, content is gone!

Well, not gone, but visible only in code view. Yes, I'm a newbie to
DW, but what is going on?

I uploaded the pages, the site is fine, then when I go back in later -
no content in layout view. (Sure does make it difficult to edit pages
:)
