Video in target frame?

message from KRFK5 on 19 Jul 2004
Hello,

I'm trying to get a QuickTime movie (320x240) to open in a target frame.
However, everytime I click the link for the QT movie, it opens a new window. I
have double checked all the frame and target names to see that they
corresspond, and it all looks ok. I successfully got other things to open in
that frame, but just the video won't. The target frame is the correct size, as
I have placed video in there as a test and it fits fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I think QuickTime files, if that's your link, will always open in a new
window.
Pages will open in frames.
So, one way would be to pass a variable to a page containing an embedded
QuickTime player and have that variable be the url of the desired QT file.
