User Authentication |
| message from trufla on 20 Jul 2004 |
am using EasyPHP and DWMX2004. I have tried defining access levels through the
User Authentication submenu-Restrict Access.
I want a user - "admin" to have access to certain pages over other users. I
select "admin" over "visitor" in the select level dialogue box and click ok.
After previewing my log in page in the browser and successfully loggin in the
"admin" user I try to gain access the the supposedly "admin only pages".
Problem: The visitor cannot gain access, but neither can the "admin" user.
Regardless of which usergroup I specify all access is denied to the pages when
I specify a "restrict access" behavior. (I delete the server behavior
completely and everyone has access again)
Someone mentioned the register_globals issue to me. I have tried editing the
php.ini file/php.ini-dist files with no change.
Can anyone help?
