Spiders - ASP -and Search engines.

message from Mazz on 25 Jul 2004
Hi folks.

I would like to ask the group a question about search engines and
ASP.

If a website is complete ASP, how do I get the internal pages
'spidered' or indexed for seach engines.
Content is not fixed on the page, it changes,
and I read somewhere that spiders can't index these pages. The
"question mark"(?) being the problem, as in the line
http://www.voanews.com/article.cfm?objectID=blahblah between
article.chm and object.

I found this product: http://www.xde.net/products/product_xqasp.htm
which professes to resolve this, but the site is not in my own server
and it looks like XQASP is something that needs to be
installed/configured on the server. The website is on a public ISP,,
no chance of that........................ So......

Any advice, info would be welcome.

Thank you

Mazz
