Safari float image in<div> bug? |
| message from Osgood on 16 Jul 2004 |
Does anyone know if Safari has an issue with images inserted into a
floated right <div>
The floated right <div> is in a wrapper <div> which spans the width of
the screen
The image in the floated <div> is meant to sit against the right-hand
side of the browser window, however there is a white 20px gap between it
and the browser edge.
Both the floated <div> and the image are the same width. It works fine
in Mozilla and IE 5.2.

Sorted, my bad. The image was actually 2px more in width. Making the
floated <div> the same width sorted it out. Not sure why the extra 2px
created an extra 20px space though.
