MX 2004 on mac has no issues with filename length.

Yes- you can send them a Zip archive, Stuffit on every mac will expand it
fine.

I think Joaquim meant Export the site definition- under site-->manage sites.
That will make a copy of the ftp info if you choose the Include All info
option. They will have to edit the site definition after they import it, so
it's pointed to the right Local Folder where they put the files.
