well if i don't use frames should i use a table i create and duplictate the
frame movements such as click link on left but just open to box in lower left
main field?
thing is i need the page to have a nested link and button section that never
leaves the users sight!! understand?
as tho the main fields can change but the navigation bar on the side must
remain constant and all actions chosen need to be activated in a seperate
sector of the viewable page..

No. You have gotten rid of the frames on the page, but your brain is still
using them. Just make flat pages that link to each other.
OK. Make your pages short, then.

ok so what u r saying is that i should just make flat page no frames and just
use the page borders on every page just so it reloads new pages with diff
content but same side bar ? kinda like a frame set with no real frame. this
is not my site this is a site for someone and they want it to look uniform and
to keep the same look such as a frame would do with the header bar and a
navigation links bar on the side.

Yes - that's what I'm saying.

use a template.

the "target" pulldown in the Flash Button and Flash Text dialog boxes will
show your frame's names, IF you open the frameset file.
Let's say there's a three frame page- header, left nav, and main area.
It's four files for three frames.
header.html
left_nav.html
main.html
the_frameset.html
open the_frameset.html and dw will "see" what the names of all the current
frames are, and you can make the Flash Buttons with a target to open in the
main frame.
If it's an inline <iframe>, the dialog box won't pick up the iframe's name.
A work-around is to create a "dummy" frameset that contains a frame named
the same as your iframe, and create the Flash Buttons in that file, then
copy them to your iframe page.
