Rollovers are not preloading

I have used the "insert rollover image" function and i have also tried using
the behaviors pallette to make rollovers in DWMX, 7.1. The images are swapping
just fine, but they are not preloading in Safari, even though the "preloading"
box is checked in both cases. I cannot find a recent topic on this, and the
search function is down today.

has anyone out there had this problem or know what if i am missing a step? is
this a bug?
